Photo Blog 24: Tell a Lie

ISO-400, f/22, 1/125 sec

A meteor is about to crush the city! Well, this photo would be true if you count a small rock as a meteor. To photograph this, I just moved a rock close to the camera to create the illusion a larger rock is falling farther away.

I don’t think the illusion works. Because despite turning the f-stop all the way up, the rock is out of focus. Revealing that it actually isn’t far away and is actually close. Also, the composition doesn’t work as there is way more visual weight on the left then the right.
