The story in my illustration is based on my animation. I use symbols to show the loneliness a character who's dealing with loss. The tree in the image is alive, but unable to go anywhere. Even if it had wings it remains bound to the earth in the same way the character is bound to death. The piano represents his loneliness but also the comfort that can be gained through accepting his fate.
