We were asked to make a center frame portrait that portrays loneliness. When I read this for the first time I immediately thought of the moon glowing in the midnight sky. While this photo isn’t a traditional portrait it represents loneliness very well because of the negative space. The photo was taken in a moving car but it doesn’t matter how or where you look at the moon from it will always be alone in the void that is outer space but will always give us companionship in the pitch black usually being the light source for people, animals, and the occasional horror movie.
