“By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.”― Franz Kafka

Hi! I’m Julia, a student at Freestyle Academy. My core values are respect, love, harmony, and kindness.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time outdoors, helping people in my community, and experiencing new things.

I expect to develop many technological skills as well as film making skills. I want to express my creativity to the fullest extent and I hope to make many meaningful connections.

Art Reflection

In the beginning of the year, freestyle went on a field trip to SFMOMA. We were instructed to find a piece of art that spoke to us, inspired us, and gave us a sense of awe. From there we wrote a reflection about which of Dacher Keltner’s 8 wonders of life was inspired in us after seeing the art. We then recorded our writing, and put together a short reflections video.
