Aging
This weeks photoblog challenge was to tell the story of aging through a photograph. I took this picture of my grandfather. My grandfather has had one of the most unique lives ever, he even lived in the arctic circle with polar bears! Every wrinkle on his face tells it’s own story.

For this photoblog we were prompted to use shadows to tell a story. I used the shadows of my friend’s hands on this tree to create a sense of mystery and eeriness.

New Beginnings
For this photoblog, I chose to represent new beginnings using mushrooms. I think mushrooms are a great metaphor for new beginnings as they utilize nutrients from dead plants and animals in order to grow and thrive.
