About Me

Hello! My name is Lindsey Park. In 2021-2023, during my Junior and Senior year of high school, I was an Animation student at Freestyle Academy.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and composing my own music. I love creating traditional art and I work with a variety of mediums including watercolor, pastel, charcoal, and more.  Fun, to me, is having an empty surface and any form of a drawing tool at my disposal, be it ketchup and fries on a paper mat at In-n-Out or the fogged window of a car and my fingers. I never thought of myself formally as an artist, but everywhere I went, I left a trail of paper scraps with doodles. I realized that drawing is just a constant expression of my imagination, like when I drew a sea of rabbits upon finding out how rabbits multiply. Making art is just a natural part of me, inseparable. Thus by pursuing art, I am just exploring and defining my identity.

Freestyle is the best thing I did at MVHS. I was able to express my artistic creativity freely and abundantly with a perfect balance of guidance and freedom. I learned so much from Freestyle and I feel equipped to face art studies in any college.
