Photo Blog #40: New Year Light

For this photo blog, we were challenged to take a long exposure photo at night that celebrates the New Year so I decided to take a picture of the new year, 2023, using light. My sister helped me take this photo at night in our backyard. I changed the shutter speed of my camera to 10 seconds which gave my sister 10 seconds to write 2023 with a phone flashlight. It took about seven tries to get a readable “2023” but eventually we got one and I was able to edit the photo by flipping it so that the numbers weren’t backwards.
