Zenith Project

Thank you for stopping by my Zenith Project. I am proud to present the animation I made! My inspiration for this project was the anime “Hajime No Ippo”.

Another inspiration I used was the anime “Baki”. I liked the ideas of their character designs and muscle definition.

After watching both of these shows multiple times recently before the zenith project I knew I wanted my project to be about some sort of fighting. I ended up combining the two ideas into something of my own, however, both of these shows are super serious. I wanted to stray away from the seriousness of the shows and make it somewhat comical. The idea I ended up sticking with was to have a baby fight one of the greatest fighters of all time is Mike Tyson. I thought it would be funny if Mike Tyson beat up the baby because of how morally wrong and odd it is.

I used photoshop to draw and animate my entire project. Mr. Cho taught how to animate in this program, and it was my personal favorite for 2d animation. I used the timeline tool to put the frames together to make the animation.

Finally, after further a due, here is my final animation!

Reflection

The Zenith project was my favorite animation project. We were assigned to pick from the skills we learned and create something of our choice. The reason why I joined animation was to learn how to do 2D animation, it has always been my favorite to make and is the kind of animation that allows me to be the most creative. The Zenith project was 100% my favorite animation project.
