Faceless photography doesn’t show the subjects face but can often tell more to the audience without showing the subjects face. It can often bring more focus to the background of the image or other elements that the photographer took into account. In this case the object in front of the subjects face can be our main focus. For this project when asked to take a faceless photo of our selfs that told a story and showed the audience something about us I chose a bunch of pink flowers to cover my face. The reason I chose flowers was because I love flowers, and how much you can communicate with them. I have a poster in my room that goes into the language of flowers and what each flower can mean. Furthermore countries have traditional flowers and holidays can often use flowers to help celebrate that holiday. In this photo I was using pink hydrangea’s which can often symbolize gratitude, thoughtfulness, and grace. Additionally I had my photo capture some of my movement to have their be more overall mysteriousness to the photo.
