Paper Cuts is the creation of Mikele Baugh. It is here that she has combined her love of books and the environment into a single pass time.

This website is a portion of my Zenith project. The Zenith project is essentially my senior project; it is one of the largest projects I have created through my years at Freestyle Academy. For my project, I created this mock up of a company that sells notebooks made from 100% recycled paper. The purpose of the this was to not only promote sustainable living, but also provide a place that has a collection of resources regarding environmental preservation volunteer and education opportunities.

This project centers around to major aspects of my life, books and the environment. Anyone who knows me knows that I am an avid reader who always has a book on hand. I have been this way since I learned to read. I also believe strongly in environmental preservation. This is deeply rooted in my love of being outdoors and the National Parks, especially Yosemite. By combining these interests, I settled on what is now my final Zenith.

Over the course of my project, I designed the six notebooks, recycled the cover paper by hand, and hand bound each notebook.
