Trash

One mans trash is another mans treasure. For this week, our prompt was to create something beautiful out of “trash”. I chose to do a box of old toys that I used to play with. Although a box of dirty, yellowed plastic toys would be considered trash to any other person who stumbled upon them, to me they represent an entire childhood full of happy memories. Although the blur was not purposeful, I chose to keep this version of the photo because I felt it accurately conveyed the nostalgic glaze that coat our memories from childhood. Everything looked bright and pink and swirly and a box of old toys was a box of a hundred worlds filled with infinite potential.
