Hello, my name is Olivia Bocchieri and I am a first year student here at Freestyle. For the future, I plan on using my skills I learned here at Freestyle in a career in Film. Since I am new to Freestyle, for my showcase I decided to focus on the wide range of projects I worked on during my time here. For English, I focused on the Worldbuilding Unit and the process of what went behind the final product. For Digital Media, I focused on the Mandala and Multi Layer Art. For Film, I focused on the three main prokects we had throughout the year.

Throughout my Freestyle experince I had a blast. Since I am a first year senior, I was worried I wouldn’t make any friends with people who have been here a year before me. I was mistaken though. I was able to make friends right away and was welcomed into the Freestyle community right away from not only the students but by the teachers as well. Even though I was a year behind than the rest of my class, I was still able to learn a lot. Sure, the teachers made references to what they taught a year before in order to relate it to current information but I was able to still understand what was happening. I was able to grow as a digital artist in many ways over the past year. Like stated in my showcase video, in Digital Media I was able to improve my skills with Adobe products. In Film, I got to learn more of the complexity of filmmaking while making more films of my own either by myself or with others. I really enjoyed Freestyle, I am glad I joined it, and it was one of my favorite high school experiences.
