For this assignment, this picture was meant to encapsulate the mood I was feeling on the day the picture was taken. On that day, I was feeling very lethargic, and was lacking motivation and energy to do anything. Although it was a beautiful day outside, I was not in a mood that matched that feeling. These brown, dying sunflowers contrast with the bright background and saturated red wire cage, which is similar to how I felt on such a beautiful day while feeling unmotivated.
