I’m from Ukraine, and I moved to California in 2023. Since then, I’ve been getting to know a new place and finding my own way in it. I would describe myself as shy, kind, and creative. I can be quiet at first, but I enjoy connecting with people and spending time with my friends. Outside of school, I do cheer, draw, and paint. I like having something creative to work on, whether I’m trying something new or finding a different way to express an idea.
My main core value is fairness because I believe everyone deserves to be treated fairly. I try to treat people the way I would want them to treat me, with kindness and respect. To me, that means considering other people’s feelings and giving everyone a chance, even if they’re different from me.
Right now, I’m passionate about interior design, architecture, and creating a portfolio for my future. I love thinking about my dreams and planning what I can do now to get closer to them. I’ve started learning about interior design and practicing sketches of different rooms. It’s exciting to explore these interests and imagine where they could take me.
I chose to become a Freestyle student because my school didn’t offer a Design elective, and I wanted to try something more creative and fun. I also liked the smaller community because it’s easier to connect with new people and feel comfortable talking and expressing myself. During my time at Freestyle, I hope to become more confident using computers and improve my Design skills while discovering what I enjoy creating most.
