Writing this story helped us explore how ordinary moments—like waking up or having breakfast—can quickly spiral into the surreal and mysterious, blending reality with myth and imagination.
It made me reflect on how a sense of loss or curiosity about the past (like the main character’s father) can open doors—sometimes literally—to unexpected journeys.
I was surprised by how the shift from a peaceful morning to an eerie, otherworldly landscape created a sense of suspense and deeper emotional connection to the character’s experience.

This project looks at the rising costs of prescription drugs and how they affect people’s lives. Each planet represents a part of the issue—like the pills showing dependency, the coins symbolizing financial stress, and the graph showing price increases. By mixing space imagery with everyday objects, I wanted to show how this problem feels both personal and out of control, while sparking conversation about making healthcare more accessible.
