For this Idea I wanted to capture the odd one out idea, but not in the typical way. Typically, the idea of the odd one out is where somebody sticks out for being different, but in this, I tried to make it go unnoticed. Even though the camera pole is completely centered and the closest thing to the camera, because it was blurred I hope people typically find it difficult to focus on. Although finding this shot was mostly coincidence, I feel it has a powerful message of how we often let surveillance go right under our noses. Some policies appear to be the same as other ones, but with a closer look, you can see that they aren’t at all and are actually trying to remove your privacy. This goes along with my idea of the odd one out that I started with when hearing this prompt, so overall, I am very proud with how this composition lined up with my intended message and theme.
