For this blog post I decided to capture a story within water polo, with it being one of the sports I play. This was taken during a JV game at Los Gatos Highschool. With the story I wanted to capture an action filled moment and I managed to get one with only one second left on the clock. I feel that this image shows the sort of desperation there can be withing sports when there’s only a few seconds left. But additionally I feel that this captures the feeling of action from a spectator perspective. You’re able to see all that’s going on in the game but you cant really feel the stress and exertion without being an actual player and I feel I managed to do this with the distance the picture was taken from and the amount of empty space within it.
