I used this prompt of weight or mass by showing a lantern barely being held by a thin tree branch. I thought that this created interesting imagery as well as the idea of weight and balance being greatly interconnected. In order to set up this shot I literally tied the branch around the handle of the lantern and balanced it on the edge of a chair. Some of the shots I initially took included the chair but I felt that not including the chair made it almost seem as though the branch was catching the lantern, bearing its weight in a impulsive movement.
