My friends and I woke up to a beautiful view of the sunrise at the beach. I brought heart shaped glasses with a pink hue to them, so when I propped the sunglasses in front of my camera, it made the entire sunrise view look a little more magical. In the image, the aperture is F 2.2, shutter speed is 1/30, and ISO 40.

Viewpoint
On the way home from San Fransisco, I stopped for air at a lake and this is what I saw when I overlooked the bridge from a high angle point of view. In this big body of water this man sat hidden in the tall grass peacefully fishing. I’m not sure how he even got down there but I hope he made it back safe and that he caught a fish or two. In this image, the aperture is F 2.8, shutter speed 1/80, and ISO 125.
Color Theory
Using color theory, I went with a monochromatic theme. This is a cloudy sky behind trees in the Trinity Alps Mountains. This image includes the whole white to black scale, with hints of white in the clouds and black trees in the front. The aperture is F2.8, shutter speed is 1/60, and ISO 400.
Low Angles
My friends and I recreated the cover of the album Straight Outta Compton by N.W.A. Annie is holding her hands a certain way to recreate Easy-E’s pose. In this image, the aperture is F 3.5, the shutter speed is 1/195, and ISO 800.
Rule of thirds emotion
My friend and I are driving back from a night of sleeping in her van along the beach. You can see her face in the top third and left third of this image, smiling as she’s driving us home, with her hair still wet from our morning cold plunge. She’s also holding the Shaka sign, symbolizing relaxation and happiness. In this image, the aperture is F 2.8 and shutter speed is 1/100.
Fill the frame
While my friends and I were exploring Santa Cruz, we walked along this train track. I stopped to turn around and saw this couple trying to balance on the train tracks. I thought it was a really beautiful moment, especially with the scenery behind them. The trees and the train tracks fill the frame of this image. In this photo, the aperture is F1.6, shutter speed is 1/200, and ISO 40.
Facial Symmetry
This is a photo of my classmate Owen. I reflected his face on photoshop. I copied the left side of his face and reflected it (left image), and copied the right side of his face and reflected it (right image). Then I put the three images side by side again using photoshop. In this image, the aperture is F 2.8, shutter speed is 1/32, and ISO 250.
Geometry
The gym I go to has a long hallway with a beautiful dome top where sunlight can come in. In the dome at the top of the image and the lights, doors, and hallway at the bottom of the image used geometry to build. Then to utilize empty space, they added a really sweet quote that everyone can read when they look up. Looking at this hallway does make me smile. In this image, the aperture is F5.6, shutter speed is 1/64, and ISO100.
Leading Lines
For this weeks photoblog, we were told to show leading lines in food. Many foods they sell at the store come in rectangular boxes, so I put all of those together to just show horizontal and vertical lines instead of any curved or cylindrical lines. Also by seeing the outside of the pantry, you can kind of see the food inside as closed off. In this image, the shutter speed is 1/5, F4, and ISO is 1,600 because it was a very dark setting so I needed to change the camera settings to let a lot of light in.
Rule of Odds
This image symbolizes the rule of odds because there is an odd amount of people in this image, which leads our minds to view this with more harmony. This is a photo of me and my friends at the skatepark taken on my camera. In this image, the shutter speed is 1/60, aperture F3.2, and ISO 250.
