Showcase

The showcase reel is a collection of most of my favorite shots i’ve taken from various short films/projects. I’m very passionate about cinematography and the overall look of my films, so it was fun to compile my favorite shots. Some of these projects date back to my freshman year in high school, and it was cool to see how my color grading and framing has overall improved.

Besides filmmaking, I have a strong passion for playing live music and photography. A lot of my work is centered around making music videos or dance videos that go along to songs I love. In case you’re curious about any of those projects, I have a personal website dedicated to all of my other creative work.

The zenith project has been my favorite project overall, since I was able to show off a lot of the skills I had been improving on these past two years at freestyle. I learned so much about directing people who aren’t actors, and organizing a larger group of people. This project was hard but worth all of the effort, and I ended up being very happy with the results.

Freestyle has taught me a lot about managing people but also time management. Collaborating with students outside of freestyle was a new perspective and showed me how well freestyle prepares us all for the professional industries. Communication is key and I was able to apply great communication within this project. Dealing with hiccups and road bumps along the way was stressful, but provided necessary lessons. I will definitely be taking a lot of the knowledge I gained from this film into my future projects.
