Explorations Project

ARVE Error: Mode: lazyload not available (ARVE Pro not active?), switching to normal mode

In the Explorations project, we were told to explore something new or build on a prior skill. I chose to build on my skills in figure drawing by trying to animate them.

As soon as I created a layout in Adobe InDesign, arranging the figures in a way that they could flow, I began to see a movement take place.

Process

In this process, I  did mainly gesture drawing, a quick way of sketching that is more focused on the posture and movement. I used April Conner’s “Gesture Drawing” After I did about a few dozens of drawing, I photographed the best ones and created a timeline in Adobe InDesign.
