Anamatic
Before any animation is created, an animatic is made. An animatic is basically a string of images put together in a sequence to make a story . We can also incorporate sounds and movement in the animatic to serve as more accurate guidelines to what the animation will be. Without the animatic, creating an animation would be nearly impossible.
While creating my animatic, I learned lots about slicing up images in photoshop, and then importing them into adobe flash. In flash I was able to practice movements and adding sounds so when it came time to make my animation, I was well prepared.
