Dinner is served. In this picture, we were challenged to use leading lines to capture food photography. I decided to take capture the process of a homemade pizza going into our professional pizza oven.
Rule of Odds (March)
Summer approaches, and while there’s still some time left, some of our minds are already set on the late-night rides, the movie nights, and the relaxation.
negative space (February)
In the Jewish religion, this picture, which has hung in my room for over a decade, is a home blessing that ensures that God is looking over you. Out of respect, it is the only thing I have on that wall and the juxtaposition between the picture and the wall creates negative space which makes it stand out.
center framed portrait (January)
This image captures solitude, as the subject sits by himself in his gloomy and eerie environment, giving a sense of despair.
Balance (December)
This image was supposed to have a renaissance style, trying to go for a unique color balance and sharpness.
Leading Lines (November)
In this image, I tried to use the dimensions of the alleyway as leading lines to direct the focus to the person walking.
Symmetry Landscape (October)
Here, I tried to capture symmetry by standing in the middle of the road with the focal point being the house in the far back (with the red roof). By doing this, the sidewalk and other houses on both sides seem symmetrical making the image look really stunning.
Composition Photo (September)
This photo uses the rule of thirds principle, capturing the subject (my hand) in the bottom-left section to attract more attention to it. The photo also has depth of field as the background, specifically the mouse and mousepad, are blurry where as my hand and the keyboard are in complete focus.
