Tell A Lie (April)

Morning Whistles

Is the bird swinging on the rope, or is something greater at play? Reality may not always be as it seems? The truth lies in the hands of the man behind the lens.

#Nofilter (February)

Home sweet home

My dog, Magic, a Shih-Tzu & Maltese mix, standing by our living room table. The painting hanging in the background is an original signed Salvador Dali painting. I really like the lighting of this photo and the unique objects in the background.

Trash (December)

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

For this photo, I took inspiration from the trash and tried to captivate the party environment where people sometimes black out and are surrounded by garbage.

White Balance (November)

Rooftop photoshoot

For this photo, I manually selected the white balance settings resulting in a creative photo that wasn’t necessarily color accurate. The white balance setting we chose closely resembles social media filters that are commonly used.

Weight or Mass (October)

On the rooftop, light as a feather.

Here, I captured myself standing on my rooftop reaching up for the sky to make me seem almost weightless. I think that the angle at which the photo was taken really helps convey the message, “light as a feather”, I am incredibly happy with the way this picture turned out.

Inspiration Photo (September)

A picture of myself looking up at the stars.

When taking this photo I tried to capture the emotion of bliss, because some people find star-gazing to be a relaxing activity, and looking up at the chaos that goes on above us can help us find tranquility. I feel like this relates to inspiration in how certain experiences motivate our thoughts and help us come up with creative ideas.
