An animatic is a rough version of animation with sketched, still images and audio. This is a vital part in creating an animation because it helps understand what scenes are important to the story line and what can be cut. It also gives an estimate for how to space the scenes and where to use transitions.

I created my animatic based off my storyboard and animated it in flash using the panels from my Graphic Novel. I wrote a screen play based off my flash fiction in English which was the basis for my graphic novel, storyboard, and animatic. Throught this project I learned how to write a formal screenplay, and how to use Storyboard Quick 6.
