I created an audio slideshow about my topic. I arranged all the photographs I took and narrated the whole thing. This slideshow creates an auditory medium to my topic. Here, you can here the interviewee's voices and opinions for yourself. After collecting much information from my interviewees, I was able to see that women gamers shouldn't even be lumped into the group of "women gamers". Women can play video games, there's no wrong or shock in that.

This documentary slideshow is basically my book, with narration. I selected photos from the book that would work best with my audio recording of my interviewees and myself. This slideshow was made in Flash, and Mr. Florendo helped greatly in this area. I remember tutorial after tutorial of code that I needed to copy word for word into the Flash's action script to make my slideshow function. It was very tedious, but I think the slideshow layout turned out to be really nice. What we first did was create a fake slideshow with fake pictures for practice. Then when we gathered all our pictures and recorded our voices, we replaced the fake pictures with our pictures and audio. This way we didn't have to make another slideshow.

Audio slideshows are very common among people making documentaries. With audio and photos, it creates a very powerful medium.
