This week’s challenge was storytelling of my culture. This photo displays the Chinese calligraphy brush 毛笔 (Máo bǐ). This brush was specially made for me during my summer trip in 2016 to Taiwan. Calligraphy is a form of art and I often practice it with my mom as a way of meditation. In the beginning, I was terrible but eventually, I got the hang of using the brush and was able to create beautiful pieces of art.
