Conceptual

This project represents how we can express ourselves through various types of art, including poetry, experimental films and web production. Every one of these projects pushed me to put forth my best work and effort. Using programs like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, I was able to put together projects that I am proud of.

In this first unit, I valued learning how to use the programs like Photoshop and Premiere Pro. It is the first building block for later times when I can master how to use them.

Photo Haiku Video Project

This task was to produce a visual representation of a haiku that we produced in English.

This is what it looks like producing the project. I valued learning how to use Premiere Pro and making my first short video.

The Exquisite Corpse Video was a project where every group member had to write a line of poem, only based off of the previous line.

This is what it looks like to produce the video. Every small “block” is someone’s voice recording and picture.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this photo, I blended two photos together using blend modes in Photoshop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This photo, I brightened an already dark photo. To do this, I placed multiply layers on the photo on top of one another to brighten darker areas.

Lastly, this is my experimental film. My task was to produce an experimental film that portrays the concept statement of: “Feeling overwhelmed through loss.” I combined different elements of representation and symbolism to make the film. Different objects in the film can represent various feelings and emotions portrayed in the film.
