For me as a 17 year old, a car represents a modern convenience as I no longer rely on my parents schedule to get around, and it allows me to connect with my friends as I am the one with the biggest car, so often I am the one that ends up driving them around. Furthermore, owning a car has taught me valuable skills such as maintenance, following traffic rules, and taking care of my car/making sure it’s clean.
