The Zenith project is a demonstration of all of our skills that we learned at freestyle. It is a 2 month long project where we able to to create essentially anything we want related to our elective class. We have weekly check-ins where we discuss our progress with out teacher but other than that we are pretty much on our own. It is called Zenith because it is supposed be your best work at Freestyle. My Zenith was a Television show pitch. I designed an entire world and story for a 7 season television show. I did a lot of reasearch on successful television pitches and tried to design mine off of that. I originally made my show about my World building project in my English class but I wasn’t passionate about it so I redid my whole story sort of last minute.
My pitch was about a story I had slowly been designing in my head for the past year. I had so much more passion working on that story than my world building project which made the Zenith process more fun. It was also still a challenge because I presented about the first season of the show which is the one season I had not written yet. That season was always difficult for me to really get ideas for so this project was extra challenging.
Process
Above is all my planning I did for this project. I don’t have photos because my project was entirely digital Under the Story section is the old story that ended up being scrapped. But is shows how developed that part was before I scrapped it. Below that I had the beginnings of the new story. I ended up doing the rest of the story directly on the slide deck.
