What do you really have to fear about sharks? With monster sharks and glaring misconceptions you have to wonder, who is really under attack?
About Me:
My name is Cameron Semple, I am a senior at Los Altos High School and take design at Freestyle Academy. Guitar/band, hiking, painting. I hope to study ecology in the future and (sharks cool). I am joined by Madi Gubser who is scared of sharks.
With the increasing popularity of podcasts, this project taught me how to write and record a short podcast.
Some of the inspirations for my podcast include Ologies by Alie Ward and Strange Animals Podcast by Kate Shaw.
Ologies – Alie Ward interviews scientists that study very specific subjects to learn more about their work and dispel misconceptions about what they study
Strange Animals Podcast – learn facts about strange animals whether they be living, extinct, or fictional.
Reflection
This podcast was difficult for me to get through. I have always struggled with recording my voice, especially when it comes to recording myself reading something that I wrote.
One thing that helped me with this unit was recording with someone that I trust and feel comfortable around.
