My screenplay is about a teenager girl who has a life threatening experience with a horseback riding accident. When I was writing this I thought about how I horseback ride and everything that you have to do when you’re riding. Also I thought about how the family and her boyfriend would react. Some challenges I face were how I should make it end. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the girl to die in the end to make it more dramatic or to make her come back out of her coma. Another challenge I faced was what would make the mom want to unplug the life support, and I had to think how doctors would tell people this. I over come both of these challenges by picking an ending that worked better for the story which was her coming out of the coma, and I talked to my uncle who is a doctor and my mom and what she would do if her child was in a coma and probably wouldn’t come out. I am happy with my screenplay; I like the way it turned out. I also like how real it I because I know people who have had this happen to them, and horseback riding is a big thing in my life so it was important to me.
