Portfolio

For this I will be showcasing a couple of projects that I think are some of my best!

Here is a reel of some of my favorite projects:

Photoshoot

In junior year, we had an assignment in Design to do a photoshoot inspired by the short stories we wrote, where the subject of the photos was based off the main character of our stories. My main character is a small purple robot, so I took some photos of my cousin in a purple hoodie. I made the lighting of the photos purplish as well, since I can’t make her skin purple to match my character’s looks. Personality wise, my main character is very stoic and thoughtful, so I had my cousin pose as if she was deep in thought. Photography is far from my strong suit, yet I feel like this came out pretty well!

Book Cover

This year, we had to make book covers based on our world building projects. My world building project was about a group of four in a post apocalyptic Earth. For the cover, I chose to portray silhouettes of my four main characters, with the city they live in the background. This was an interesting project because it involved not just art, but being able to format all the requirements of a book cover, like the blurb, the title, and other components.

Wood Ring

In Digital Media, we drew art in Illustrator, divided it into layers, and then got it lasered onto wood. This was a fun but scary project, as I didn’t know how it was going to turn out until everything was lasered onto wood and then assembled together. However, I do like the outcome.
