10 Things I've Learned So Far

For this assignment, we were told to choose ten morals that we believe we apply to ourselves on a day to day basis. In English, we used these morals to create an essay about ourselves. In WebAudio, we used these ten things to make a podcast that shows our ten things that we've learned about ourselves, and then add pictures and music.

To depict the key morals and values I have accumulated in my lifetime, I chose ten pictures that I feel symbolize the values I’m trying to portray. The first moral that I portrayed was finding new ways of enjoying yourself, and to symbolize this I chose a picture of a boy frolicking in a field with his friends. I chose this picture because I feel that nowadays people are centered around technology, and many would rather sit inside and play video games, than go out and find something proactive and fun to do. The next value that I illustrated was the need for people to try something new in their life and to distance themselves from the mundane routines of their lives. For this value, I chose a picture of myself in a dinosaur costume, because it shows my necessity to try new things and not come to school doing the exact same thing everyday. For the proceeding value, I chose to depict how one must be open minded when listening to new ideas. I thought this was very important to me because if people choose not to listen to others’ ideas, they damage ones’ confidence, and they are less motivated to voice their great ideas. Another idea that I felt important to me that I portrayed was that people need to spend time in their day doing what they enjoy. I believe this because it gives everybody something special or a hobby, and the picture I chose was of me doing my hobby, playing drums.
