10 Things I've Learned So Far

In English we created 10 statements based on things we have learned so far. These statements are supposed to be unique and not clique. In order to create our poem, media piece, and essay we had to pick one to focus on and use for those assignments. In WebAudio we created a podcast for our list, with a different image to represent each statement.

1. Making connections with other people makes me feel genuine.
2. Some people may have less material things, but they have more in other ways.
3. It’s important to take breaks.
4. I will not like doing somethings in life.
5. Travel allows for new perspectives.
6. Music makes me happy.
7. It is important to be open and honest with yourself.
8. Make the most out of everything because you don’t want to look back and wish you could’ve done more.
9. Learning a new language is one of the best choices I’ve made.
10. Sometimes you don’t need eyes to see.

In WebAudio we created a podcast based on the list of ten things we created in English. I used the Isolation Booth to record my audio. Then in GarageBand I edited my audio so it was the correct length. I also created my background audio in GarageBand using the loops. I created the podcast in Adobe Flash. I put in my images and audio. I used keyframes in order to get my background audio to repeat and play throughout my podcast.

Explain assignment in English

In English we had to create and image to represent our personal statement. This image later became the symbol paragraph of our personal essay. Our personal statement was taken from our list of 10 Things Learned so Far. I used a flower to show connections because of all the connections a flower requires for survival.
