Low Angle
This is one of my favorite thrift finds, it’s a lamp that looks like a teacup with a small angle. I’m very excited I have this piece and it really shines when you get down and look at it closely.

This is a teddy pin I found during my volunteering hours for cancer society at their discovery shops. You can see the cute silhouette being revealed as a shadow onto my bed night stand.
This is a photo of the toy car I thrifted at an estate sale down the street. I always think it looks so fitting in my at home library, you can see how the car is on alignment with the rule of thirds to lead the eye to the left.
I’m very grateful for the friends I’ve attained this year, above all I’m happy that they push me to be a better artist and person.
My dog is one of my Day 1’s. I love her a lot, in this photo she’s keen on staying as absolutely still as possible in order to attain a treat from me. You can tell by her beady little eyes and her ears being down because she’s focused on the prize ahead of her.
I noticed my friend had one loose thread on her sweater and knew it could be a could subject for this photo. As you can see her sweater fills the whole frame. Thus highlights the undone thread by leading your eye through the divide of red and white yarn.
We received this statue from my aunt, she got it from the SMITHSONIAN museum. It reminded her of us because me and my mom are Chinese. It’s a replica of a statue from the ming dynasty that’s often used to represent the wealth of the deceased in their tombs.
In my backyard our pool is lined with these beautiful rose tiles. When I was little I would try and level myself with the water to be see how I would reflect against the water too. Almost felt like I was seeing a different world in the water.
