This holiday season my mom has gifted me a polar bear pop socket. She said the texture reminded her of my childhood stuffed animals and that the cute bow made the bear quite gentlemanly. She told me “if this little bear were on your phone every day, maybe he’d be a new talisman”. That made me smile while eating moon cakes with her while thinking about how my mom always put sentimentality in anything she could.
