About Me

I’m Estelle, A first-year senior at Freestyle. I’m enrolled in animation. I was first interested in art when I went into middle school. I started to get more passionate about art when I joined my first art class in freshman year. I’ve always been doodling in notebooks or homework and found that it was what I wanted to do when I was older. My passion for animation started at a young age. The first animated show I learned to appreciate was Gravity Falls. I loved the writing, the style, the humor, everything about it. Growing up, I always found comfort in animation and never grew out of it. I hope to one day work on an animated production so that I can spread the beauty, and my love, of animation. Outside of art, I love marine life and nature in general. Lesser-known critters are my favorite. Throughout my journey, it’s been hard to find who I am, and the past few years have helped me build up the person I want to be. While I’m not quite finished, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made.

What I Do Outside of School

Outside of school, I enjoy observing nature, whether it’s going to a park or aquarium, or just taking a quick walk. Additionally, I play ultimate frisbee. Very few people have heard of it, and while I’ve only played for a couple of months, it is wonderful. The community is amazing, and everyone is incredibly supportive. From time to time I’ll make jewelry, such as earrings or bracelets. Silly earrings especially, they’re one of my favorite things, so I love making them.
