This is the golden hour because the sun is very bright. You cant see him in the photo but Midas was lurking in the foliage you can see. Midas was the name of a king in Phrygia with whom several myths became associated, as well as two later members of the Phrygian royal house. The most famous King Midas is popularly remembered in Greek mythology for his ability to turn everything he touched into pure gold. This is why its called the golden hour.
