I am Giselle Ma. I am a junior, and my elective is design. I am a student at Mountain View High School and Freestyle. I like to paint with oil paint and paint landscapes and animals. Some outside activities that I do are art class, piano class, cheer, and dance class. I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
Honesty, kindness, creativity, and respect. Iβm always kind to others and respect other people. Always treating them as someone that I respect and as someone I can talk to like a close friend. Always being honest with someone and telling my opinion, I enjoy being creative and making different patterns using different shapes. Wanting to express my feelings.
Something that I am passionate about in my life is that I want to expand my knowledge and being able to do new things. I want to create my own piano piece that I can share with others and that they can enjoy. I also want to create an article about my life and how I have had braces for 8 years, and what I thought about it. I want to be able to show my parents and friends what I created.
I chose to become a Freestyle student because I wanted to learn more about art and various types of software, including Photoshop, Audition Premier, Illustrator, and others. I wanted to be able to create something that I can proudly show to others, like this website, and show who I am. Another reason is that I want to be able to continue doing art because I only do art outside of school and not as an elective. It will allow me to learn more about art and do different things, and not use paint and paper/canvas.
Passion and dedication are similar because they both represent hard work and commitment. For passion the font I chose a simple font and nothing crazy, and I chose a purple-blue. For dedication, I used strong lines and detailed shapes to represent effort and determination. Although passion and dedication have different meanings, they both show how important it is to work toward something you care about.
Creativity and calm are different because they express different emotions. For creativity, I chose bright colors and unique shapes to make my artwork stand out. However, for calm, I used softer colors and smoother lines to create a peaceful feeling. While both artworks express emotions, the most noticeable difference is that creativity feels unique, whereas calm feels more relaxing and simple.
