Mandala:

I have learned that making a mandala is a meditative art form. In a very relaxing assignment, we were tasked with using Adobe Illustrator to produce a  black and white mandala. This involved working with reflections to make the piece symmetrical. We then laser engraved our final product onto a material of our choice. We finished the black and white mandala with a video created with Adobe After Effects to reveal our process. For a final showcase of the skills we learned, we produced a final colored mandala. 

 

 

Perspective Piece:

For Digital Media, we were tasked with writing a sort of personal statement and producing a video using After Effects. We were meant to display the skills we have learned for the platform through our lessons by making a video using effects and music to create a visually appealing video essay using photos.
