I chose my dog as my subject because she is very cute and therefore attracts the eye, and also is frequently in motion. I also felt that her dark colors would contrast well with the daylight. I wanted to give the impression that she was running back into the house because you can see our backyard vs our house in the left and right areas of the picture.
