For our final chapter of Junior year, we were introduced to the Explorations project. We were given full reign on this unit. At the very beginning, my dream project was going to fall under the art of video game design, but under our circumstances and lack of video game programming, it wasn’t working out too well for me. Soon after I decided to switch to the art of Digital Painting on Procreate. I had owned an iPad Pro for a while, alone with the app, but I wasn’t exploring it nearly as much as I should have been. This project allowed me to improve my technological literacy, visual literacy, and creativity skills.

This unit allowed me to delve into different skills that I can develop through Procreate. I mastered the basic knowledge of the program and started to explore the different brushes that accomplish different tasks. Having knowledge of an amazing software that will allow me to enhance my portfolio for colleges is something I will forever value. I, also, now have another program that I can write down on my resume.
