In 1973, the business had been a drive in dairy, and it’s name was Brentwood Farms. In 1973 Steve was 23 years old and he had been over to that business a couple of times because his family’s business was a drive through dairy in the East Bay in a place called Caster Valley. He enjoyed those years seeing what other businesses were like. Steve and his father learned that Brentwood Farms had closed their doors in December of 1973 and they were shocked because when they had seen the business it had many customers driving through.
