This photo attempts to tell the simple story of a leaf falling from a tree. As it shows a fallen leaf, and the shadows of the leaves it used to be with. And the fact that you can’t even properly see the leaves it used to be a part of creates a sense of separation or isolation. I also centered the leaf so its fully surrounded by space, creating a sense of separation.
When taking this photo, I wish I could have found a singular large leaf. But I could only find little, small leaves that were too small. As a singular leaf would have boosted the sense of separation and isolation.
