Narrative

In a new coding language called php, I've learned many things in the short time we've used it. For one, being able to simply include files that are in seperate documents and use a template or individually edit files is great. It eases a very confusing process as I no longer have massive blocks of code to find a single faulty line. I also like the concept of password protected websites were the logons aren't within the publicly accessable code. Php, while a bit less comprehensive than HTML brings a lot more to the table.

For the narrative unit we were asked how well we could tell a story with multiple perspectives and with that choose and focus on a single persons point of view. With a plethora of projects, this was definetly one of the more difficult units of the year. For english we were asked to write the stories that would then inspire the design and web audio projects. In design our stories were then used to create book covers. For web, we were asked to create an animation using these stories from before and use PHP to create this website about our stories. This unit also included surrealism, and how well we could write unorthodox things in English, and create a physical piece of artwork from them.

On each page you will find respective work. On the English page my screenplay, animatic, and columns can be found, design my book cover and surrealist art, and for webaudio my animation. This unit taught me many more skills then I've learned in any unit such as the ability to use After Effects, but also sharpen my Photoshop, and Illustrator skills. Please enjoy.
