I am Josheline Lara, I’m a 16 year old student who goes to Los Altos High School and Freestyle Academy. My expectations of myself as a Freestyle student is to learn as a student and as an artist. I view myself growing a lot in Freestyle technically and artistically.
I see myself growing more technically because I’m not a huge technical person so I believe I’ll see huge growth in that area. On the other hand, in the artistic side I believe I’ll still grow but it might not be a huge growth as in technical.
My core values in life are that my family comes first because they are my home, the ones you always support me and the ones I can always count on. I believe in learning from one’s mistakes, and not just accepting it but being able to take feedback in which I’ve learned to do the past years that has helped me. Something I’m learning is forgiveness because if one can be forgotten we should also learn to forgive. So I’m learning to take in forgiveness as well as give.
Something I like to do outside of school is photography because to me photography is one of several ways to express myself, it’s a way I can show everyone else how I am, how I’m feeling, an my perspective of life through the pictures I take.
I value Freestyle as a student and how I have the opportunity to be part of this community because I believe Freestyle is a great opportunity to grow in.
