For this photo blog, I chose to take a photo of roses outside my house. I felt that in the rain, they fit the aesthetic of being colorful and movie-like. I positioned the shot to focus solely on the flowers, and surround the image with white (the sky) and green (the trees). Rather than moving the camera off to the side, I felt it would be more powerful i f the flowers were prominent.
