I absolutely adore working with reflections and shadows. The symmetry in this photograph comes not from a typical left-right framing, but symmetry through the y-axis. The reflections of the sails against the water to me, invoke a sense of calm and consistency while imagining the routine of all the boats and dock schedules all day. It also sort of looks like sound waves which I find cool because of how looking at an image like this means different sound associated memories per person.
