Discovering why negative space is so effective in photography
This was one of the pictures that didn’t make I to the final cut for my Design project. We were on our narrative creature unit and this was when we were done with our creatures and now on photographing a scene in our short story. I used my friend Haley to represent my main character Vanessa who is a 14 years old girl and Haley looks young enough to be 14 so she is the perfect model. This photoshoot was a lot of fun since we bonded a bit and also it was really hard to make her cry for some reason. I ended up having her talked about the movie The Notebook to get her emotional. Turns out that romcom movie can make someone shed sad tears.
